Sustainability Redefined With Keter’s Lakeside Collection of Sustainable Furniture
Launched in 1948, the team at Keter Group has been pivotal in developing winning and sustainable solutions to the home and garden needs of its rapidly growing customer base. Led by the COVID-19 pandemic’s reliance on the internet, more and more consumers are shopping online to find sustainable products at unbeatable prices and this is where the team at Keter steps into the equation.
Keter utilizes sustainable resin materials to develop its expansive catalog of home and garden decor products. From Adirondack-style chairs to outdoor coolers and patio furniture, Keter’s team has worked diligently to craft better products for better people.
Along the way, Keter developed its Lakeside Collection to give consumers a chance to relax in luxury while also stewarding the environment.
Let’s take a closer look at the Lakeside Collection to better understand what it has to offer.
Keter and Sustainability
The team at Keter has long been a leader in sustainable manufacturing thanks to its focus on recycling partnerships, environmentally friendly sourcing options, and its reliance on sustainable materials.
Keter aims to produce long-term-use, resin-based products that are built to last no matter the weather condition or climate. With a variety of textures and finishes available, Keter’s products blend in beautifully with other less sustainably sourced goods.
CEO Alejandro Pena said of his team, “They believe the future is bright and that together we can build a better company and, most importantly, a better world for future generations.”
To live up to this mission statement, Keter has taken several tangible steps to reduce its carbon footprint while improving its overall efficiency in the workplace. Keter is presently increasing its use of recycled materials in its production line up to 55% by 2025, rising from its present status at 41.8%.
The Lakeside Collection Brings Premium Products
Keter introduced its Lakeside Collection to the world by first discussing the Adirondack-style chairs that are featured within it. Keter produced six different finishes and styles all backed by LumberTech materials, finished with SunGuard Technology.
The LumberTech materials used in Keter’s production of its Lakeside Collection provide an enduring and elegant finish that is free from splinters. LumberTech can hold up to 400 pounds of weight and is built from milk cartons recycled in the United States.
The SunGuard technology utilized by Keter helps offset potential wear and tear while reducing visible fading issues. Keter’s reliance on these special finishes has made it a special player in the sustainability game.
Aside from the Adirondack Chairs available in the Lakeside Collection, CEO Alejandro Pena touts the Premium Lakeside Round Outdoor Side Table which is available in six different colors as well as a squared design.
Whether you are relaxing outside or planning a family gathering, Keter’s Lakeside Collection can help to make the experience a better one.
